Nachdem sich Tony Gilroy bei den bisherigen Teilen der Bourne Trilogie immer “nur” als Screenwriter beteiligt war, durfte er für The Bourne Legacy jetzt endlich auch mal im Regiestuhl platz nehmen. Dafür muss er zwar auf Matt Damon verzichten, aber ich denke mal, daß Jeremy Renner (der in letzter Zeit in fast jedem größeren Actionfilm mit dabei ist), Edward Norton und Rachel Weisz die Geschichte auch gut tragen können.
The Bourne Legacy startet Mitte September in den deutschen Kinos.

Synopsis:

Neuer Trailer zu Production I.G und Kenji Kamiyamas (GitS: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East) 009: Re-Cyborg, der CG Wiederauferstehung von Shotaro Ishinomoris Klassiker 009: Cyborg. Nicht ganz so beeindruckend wie der vier Minuten Trailer vom letzten Oktober, aber immerhin ein Lebenszeichen des Projekts, das im kommenden Herbst in die japanischen Kinos kommen soll und sich dann mit Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo messen muss.

Trailer zu neuen Anime Serie Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope) von Cowboy Bebop und Samurai Champloo Regisseur Shinichiro Watanabe. Wie man sieht ist wieder viel Musik (und wohl auch etwas Knabenliebe) mit im Spiel, weshalb mit die Teilnahme von Komponistin Yoko Kanno (GitS:SAC, Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne…) an dem Projekt besonders freut.
Die Serie flimmert ab April über die japanischen Bildschirme.

Synopsis:

Summer, 1966. Kaoru Nishimi has moved to live with relatives in Kyushu. He’s been an aloof honor student his whole life, but that starts changing when he meets Sentarou Kawabuchi, the school’s notorious bad boy. Through him, he learns the appeal of jazz and forms his first real friendships.

Erster Trailer zu Niji-Iro Hotaru ~Eien no Natsu Yasumi~ (Rainbow-Colored Fireflies: The Eternal Summer Vacation) von Regisseur Kônosuke Uda (Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy, One Piece) basierend auf einer Geschichte von Masayuki Kawaguchi.
Toei Animation bringt den Film mit dem recht ungewöhnlichen Zeichenstil am 19. Mai 2012 in die japanischen Kinos.

Synopsis:

The film follows a sixth-grade boy named Yūta who slips back in time 30 years during summer vacation. After his father’s death, Yūta tries to reclaim what was lost by experiencing summer activities like insect collecting and fireworks and discovering his first love in a village that should be underwater.

Erster Teaser Trailer zu Okami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki (The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki), dem neuen Werk von Summer Wars und The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Regisseur Mamoru Hosoda. Der japanische Kinostart ist am 21. Juli, eine westliche Veröffentlichung dürfte trotz des eher ungewöhnlichen Settings nach den Erfolgen seiner bisherigen Filme sicherlich nicht lange auf sich warten lassen.

Synopsis:

The story covers 13 years and begins with a 19-year-old college student named Hana who encounters and falls in “fairy tale-like” love with a “wolf man.” After marrying the wolf man, Hana gives birth and raises two wolf children — an older sister named Yuki (“snow”) who was born on a snowy day, and a younger brother named Ame (“rain”) who was born on a rainy day.

The four quietly lived in a corner of a city to conceal the fact that the children are “wolf children.” However, when the wolf man suddenly dies, Hana decides to move to a rural town far removed from the city.

Ich bin ein bisschen spät dran mit dem ersten Trailer zum neuen Wes Anderson Werk Moonrise Kingdom, aber bis zum Deutschlandstart Ende Mai ist ja auch noch ein bisschen Zeit. Das ganze hat mit den abgedrehten Charaktere (Bill Murray als schuhewerfender Holzfäller ) und der bekannten Schauspielriege auch wieder dieses gemütlich, typische Anderson Geschmäckle. Ich freu mich drauf!

Synopsis:

Set on an island off the coast of New England in the 1960s, as a young boy and girl fall in love they are moved to run away together. Various factions of the town mobilize to search for them and the town is turned upside down — which might not be such a bad thing.
