Synopsis:

The story takes place in 2022 when humanity is accelerating towards the technological singularity — the advent of computers that surpass humans. Nano-technology has advanced to the point where humans can seamlessly link to networks, but the consciousness of tens of thousands vanished in a tragedy that became known as the “Early Rapture.” Remu Mikage (played by Jun Fukuyama) goes to take back the soul of Shiki (Eri Kitamura), his little sister who disappeared in net space.
