Trailer for Taiwanese War Epic Seediq Bale

Here’s a new subtitled trailer for the Taiwanese war epic Seediq Bale by director Wei Te-sheng who, thanks to producer John Woo, finally got the chance to show us the fight of the native Seediq people against the invaiding Japanese troops in the 1930s. The four hour story will be split into two films that will open in Taiwanese cinemas in September.
I guess with Woo’s name tagged on this, the international distribution rights will soon be sold. Hopefully we’ll be able to see the full four hour version and not some compressed international” version like with Red Cliff.
