This entry is just about the theatrical release of Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World in Germany.
Frohe Kunde von den Filmfreunden bzw. deren Leser Maximilian.
Der hat nämlich bei Universal Deutschland mal freundlich wegen des/dem verdammt späten (6. Januar 2011!) deutschen Kinostarts von Edgar Wrights Scott Pilgrim vs. The World angefragt und folgende Antwort bekommen:

…wir freuen uns Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass der Film SCOTT PILGRIM GEGEN DEN REST DER WELT am 21.10.2010 in Deutschland starten wird.

Laut VideoETA soll die US DVD & Blu-ray Disc übrigens schon im November kommen. Da muss ich mich mit dem Lesen der Comics ja glatt beeilen…

OMG, it’s full of stars in 3D!

According to some rumors in the Blu-ray.com forums, Universal will release Edgar Wright’s adaptation on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on January 4, 2011. I can’t imagine why Universal wants to miss the Christmas sales, but at least I can see the film before it hits the German theaters on January 6th.

Did I already mention how pissed I am about the fact that I have to wait until January 6, 2011 before I can watch the film in German theaters? Way to go, Universal Germany!
