Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: 3D Poster & DVD + Blu-ray Disc Release Date

OMG, it’s full of stars in 3D!

According to some rumors in the Blu-ray.com forums, Universal will release Edgar Wright’s adaptation on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on January 4, 2011. I can’t imagine why Universal wants to miss the Christmas sales, but at least I can see the film before it hits the German theaters on January 6th.

Leserservice: Geburtstagsaktion: Seven Samurai Korea Limited Edition

Sorry, this contest is only open to readers in Germany
Also lasst die Sau raus!

Another Twisted Poster for Christopher Nolan’s Inception

I guess I must have looked pretty stupid when I covered my ears and closed my eyes in the theater during the trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Inception in front of Iron Man 2 last Wednesday, but I’m sure that these preventive measure will pay off in the end. However, looking at posters is ok, especially if it’s as twisted as this one:

Poster for Christopher Nolan’s Inception

I’m still trying to avoid anything that could spoil my innocent enjoyment of Christopher Nolan’s Inception, but a simple poster can’t do any harm, right…right?!

Two Posters for Like the Moon Escaping from the Clouds (Blades of Blood)

Two new posters for Lee Jun-Ik’s Korean wuxia drama Blades of Blood aka Like the Moon Escaping from the Clouds (구르믈 버서난 달처럼) that opens in Korean theaters in April 2010. I know that blind fighter (Hwang Jeong-Min) is trying to do his best Zatoichi impression, but somehow his face always reminds me of some other things…

Epic Poster for Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

This Film will be rated E for EPIC!

Official Synopsis:

Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for totally average garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams…literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker’s quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem getting a girlfriend. It’s getting rid of them that proves difficult. From the girl who kicked his heart’s ass-and now is back in town-to the teenage distraction he’s trying to shake when Ramona rollerblades into his world, love hasn’t been easy. He soon discovers, however, his new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes controls her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor.

As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues’ gallery from her past-from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsomely identical twins. And if he hopes to win his true love, he must vanquish them all before it really is game over.
