Trailer for Takashi Miike’s 13 Assassins Remake

Synopsis:

In the era of the Shogun, an evil young lord rapes and kills, assured of immunity by law. But he didn’t count on the Thirteen Assassins. A feared secret force, each with their own deadly skill, the Assassins undertake a suicide mission to wipe out the Lord. As he embarks on a perilous journey, the Assassins close off his escape route and ambush him in a village of death. But little do they know, they are outnumbered four to one by the Lord’s crack team of bodyguards.

The Ancient Dogoo Girl on YouTube

The kind user sugerpotspottt has uploaded the first two episodes of Japanese TV series The Ancient Dogoo Girl, which is co-produced by Machine Girl and RoboGeisha director Noboru Iguchi, to his YouTube channel. Here’s a part from the second episode that will lead to massive brain melting on standard Western brains after a few minutes. Thank god that there are no subtitles available!

Idols, Bras and Noboru Iguchi! The Ancient Dogoo Girl Trailer

Here’s the first trailer for the upcoming Japanese TV series The Ancient Dogoo Girl (Kodai Shojo Doguchan) whose first episode get’s directed by nobody less that Noboru Iguchi who some of you might remember from strange little films like Machine Girl and RoboGeisha. Do I have to say anything more? :D

The series will begin airing on October 7th and tells the twisted story of a mysterious warrior girl (Idol Erika Yazawa) who gets summoned after 10000 years to fight the evil in todays society.

Takashi Miike’s Thirteen Assassins

Sanspo has released the first pictures from the cast and set of Takashi Miike’s remake of Eiichi Kudo’s 1963 classic Thirteen Assassins starring Koji Yakusho, Hiroki Matsukata, Yusuke Iseya, Takayuki Yamada, Tsuyoshi Ihara, Arata Furuta, Ikki Sawamura, Sousuke Takaoka, Yuma Ishigaki, Masataka Kubota, Seiji Rokkaku, Kazuki Namioka and Koen Kondo.
