Tetsuya Nakashimas Confessions in ausgewählten Kinos

German film distributor Rapid Eye Movies will screen Tetsuya Nakashima’s latest film Confessions in several German cinemas, so this entry should only interest my German readers.

Eigentlich schreibe ich ja nur (noch) selten über Kinoveröffentlichungen von asiatischen Filmen in Deutschland, aber bei Regisseur Tetsuya Nakashima mache ich mal eine Ausnahme. Sein aktuelles Werk Confessions ist nämlich sowas von sehenswert und wird deshalb auch von Rapid Eye Movies in mehreren ausgewählten Kinos in der Republik gezeigt:

Confessions: HK Blu-ray Disc with English Subtitles

YesAsia.com has listed the Hong Kong Blu-ray Disc release of Tetsuya Nakashima’s Confessions (告白 Kokuhaku) coming March 3, 2011 from CN Entertainment. This will be the first Blu-ray Disc release of the Oscar-nominated thriller from the director of Kamikaze Girls, Memories of Matsuko, and Paco and the Magical Book with English subtitles.
According to most retailers, the disc will be locked to Region A, so some of you might have to wait for the announced UK release from Third Window Films.

Stunning Full Trailer for Tetsuya Nakashima’s Confession (Kokuhaku)

Powerful trailer for Confession (告白 Kokuhaku) from director Tetsuya Nakashima (Kamikaze Girls, Memories of Matsuko, Paco and the Magical Book) based on a best selling novel by Kanae Minato. The film stars Takako Matsu as the middle school teacher Moriguchi who’s four-year old daughter gets murdered. Moriguchi suspects that some of her own students are responsible for her crashing loss so she decides to leave the school, but not without confessing her already started plan to avenge her daughter’s death to the class…
