You just can’t keep former Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi down! After kicking Kim Jong-il’s ass in the first episode of The Legend of Koizumi (Reform with no Wasted Draws) (available here with English subtitles), he’s still on his quest to make the world a better place using his superior mahjong skills in this new trailer for the OVA series. The new episodes will be released on DVD in Japan on February 26th.

The first episode of the anime adaptation of Hideki Ohwada’s manga The Legend of Koizumi (Reform with no Wasted Draws) shows us (with English subtitles!) that the world’s leaders use the game to decide the fate of the world. In this episode, the former Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi gets challenged by the North Korean leader (and avid movie collector) Kim Jong-il with hilarious results.
