Almost six years after the release of the first episode, Geneon published a first trailer for the tenth and final episode of their Hellsing Ultimate OVA series. Expect lots of blood, fire and nazi madness.

To finally end the wait for the US fans, FUNimation will release a Blu-ray Disc collection with the first four episodes in October. After that the following episodes will also be released.

Geneon has released a first trailer for the eight volume of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA series.
I didn’t follow the series after the Geneon US breakdown back in 2007 so I have no clue what’s happening right now. Hopefully some distributor (FUNimation?) in the Western world will bring us the good stuff on Blu-ray Disc (the Japanese releases all lack English subtitles) someday…

This trailer for the seventh Hellsing Ultimate OVA isn’t exactly brand new, but you can never have enough footage of Seras Victoria kicking some major ass, right?
The OVA will be released in Japan on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on December 23, 2009, sadly the license situation in the USA is still a bit unclear…

Finally we will be able to enjoy the malicious grin of our favourite vampire overlord Alucard in high definition! Can you Moe? reports that Geneon/Universal will release the sixth episode of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA on Blu-ray Disc in Japan on July 24, 2009. There will be a standard and limited edition, but until now it’s unclear what extra gimmicks (maybe another relief?) will be included in the latter. Of course, there’s also no mentioning of English subtitles…
Let’s hope that FUNimation didn’t screw up and also got the rights for an US Blu-ray Disc release when they saved Hellsing from Geneon’s cold dead hands in July 2008.

Geneon Japan has released a new promotion clip for episode 6 of the Hellsing Ultimate OVA series. Most of the footage has already been shown on last December’s Comiket and sadly only mentions “Summer 2009″ as the planned release date. Too bad that Madhouse decided to use a computer generated voice for the voiceover and couldn’t get any real seiyuu to do the job. I hope that’s because they’re currently busy producing the next episode…

The Japanese singer suilen will supply the theme song for episode VI and VII, some of her older songs can be found on her my$pace page.

Wahnsinn dieser Service. Während man sich in Tokyo aktuell auf der 75. Winter Comiket (Comic Market) Messe die Füße plattstehen und sich an müffelnden Otakus reiben muss um die aktuellsten Trailer (oder eine Promo Blur-ray Disc von Geneon) zu erblicken, könnt ihr letzteres direkt hier von eurem Bürostühl aus erledigen. Frisch gezapft ist der neue Trailer zur sechsten OVA von Hellsing Ultimate, der auf der japanischen Webseite erst nach einigen Klickereien abrufbar ist.

Vielleicht könnte ja jemand mit Japanischkenntnissen mal übersetzen, was am Ende des Trailers neben den durchgestrichenen DVD Video Zeichen steht. Ich hoffe mal daß das ein Hinweis auf eine Blu-ray Disc Veröffentlichung sein soll… *träum*
