meh, this clip from the “animated epic” accompanying EA Games video game Dante’s Inferno looks, just as expected like another bland contract job (Halo: Legends anyone?) from a Japanese animation studio created for an US company. Another clip is available over at AICN.
Once again Production I.G. has joined their animation forces with Western companies. This time for the six-part anthology Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic that will serve as the animated spin-off for EA Games Dante’s Inferno (based on Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy). The first trailer showing off some demon slaying action is embedded below.
The full anthology will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc together with the game in February 2010.
