Because I get asked a lot what movie the currently displayed (“the one with the cute Asian chick…”) header image is from, I decided to use my amazing CSS and PHP skills *ehm* to let the title (and sometimes some witty comment) magically appear when you hover your cursor over the header area. It’s not that I don’t like getting mails, but this way you’re instantly getting the information you’re looking for no matter how busy/available I’m currently am.
I really should/could have thought about this easy solution years ago, but you know how it is…

Some of you might have noticed that I changed the Affenheimtheater’s design a bit during last weekend. the sites header and footer now feature some of my favourites and should lighten up the strict interface a bit. The sidebar is now seperated more clearly from the main content, the related entries (single entry view) and latest entries (sidebar) sections now feature thumbnails and text extraits in the currently selected language (if available).
Below you can see how the site is supposed be displayed (and how it looks in my browser). If you got any technical problems with the new design please drop me a line and include your browser version and maybe a screenshot. Feel free to speak your mind on the new design in the comments section.

Daß nicht nur japanische Künstler es absolut drauf haben, wenn es darum geht abgedrehte aber dennoch realistische Roboterwesen zu erschaffen zeigt der Künstler Keith Thompson in seiner Galerie, die nicht nur großartige Mechamodelle, sondern auch gleich die passende Hintergrundgeschichte zum Werk präsentiert.

Schade nur daß die Einzelprints so kostenintensiv sind und es kein zusammenfassendes Artbook gibt.

Nennt mich krank und kaputt, aber von dem Zeug das der Designer der neuen Studio BONES Show Bōnen no Xamdou geschluckt/geraucht/gespritzt/ins Ohr getröpfelt bekommen hat, hätte ich auch gerne was!

Mehr als die Teasergrafik gibt es auf der Website zur Serie leider noch nicht zu sehen.
Apropro krank und kaputt, weiß jemand ob etwas mehr aus dem Cencoroll Anime geworden ist?
