Godkiller: Walk Among Us Complete Trailer

I’ve been reporting about the individual releases and episodes of Godkiller: Walk Among Us, the ‘illustrated film’ based on the comic from Matt Pizzolo and Anna Muckcracker for quite some time now. Now Halo-8 Entertainment has released a first trailer for the complete film that consists of all three episodes and will premiere during the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) on April 16th. If you can’t make it to Chicago, you’ll have to wait until May 25th when it will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

Synopsis:

Godkiller: Walk Among Us is the story of a boy on a quest to save his dying sister. It takes place in a dark future after economic collapse, after nuclear holy war, and after Earth is colonized by alien races. Tommy and his kid sister Lucy live in an orphanage in one of the few remaining city-states, but Lucy is critically ill and desperately in need of a new heart. Tommy’s odyssey to find a new heart for his sister begins when he follows an organ-stealing prostitute named Halfpipe out of the city-state and into the savage borderland known as Outer City.

First Preview Clip for “Illustrated Film” GODKILLER

A first preview clip for GODKILLER, an “illustrated film” from Halo-8 Entertainment based on the comic series created by Matt Pizzolo and Anna Muckcracker has been released today. Set in a dark future, where Earth has been colonized by alien races after an economic collapse and a “holy” nuclear war, GODKILLER tells the story of the orphan Tommy who’s searching for a new heart for his ill kid sister Lucy. On his odyssey he meets the prostitute Halfpipe who’s specialized in organ stealing and takes the young boy into her own dark world of “brutality, quantum physics and conspiracy theories”…

I’m not sure about the “animation” on this one (I’m not a big fan of motion comics either), but I really like the drawing style and with voice artists like Lance Henriksen and several nice ladies (Danielle Harris, Tiffany Shepis, Nicki Clyne) I’m gonna give it a chance. The first episode is supposed to be released this fall.
