New Spot for Kenji Kamiyama’s 009: Re-Cyborg CG Anime

Production I.G released a new 30-second spot for 009: Re-Cyborg, the Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) directed CG adaptation of Shotaro Ishinomoris’ 009: Cyborg manga.

Synopsis (009: Cyborg)

During the tensions of the Cold War, a global organization led by Black Ghost wishes to lock the world in eternal warfare for profit. But in order to avoid destroying the world through nuclear warfare, Black Ghost has captured nine men and women. By turning them into cyborg soldiers, he aims to bring the war into the stars. However, Black Ghost did not count on his cyborg soldiers rebelling against his evil cause.

    Haha, wie geil. Ich hab hier noch eine alte VHS mit einem Zusammenschnitt verschiedener Episoden von Cyborg 009, was bei uns im Kino lief :eek:

    Wow, das war damals eine meiner ersten Anime-Erfahrungen überhaupt… (gleich nach “Taro der Drachenjunge”)… :grin: :kneel:
