This seems to be the difference between Eureka! and other niche publishers (one US company comes immediately to mind). Although they’re a business, it seems that Eureka! are film lovers first. They’re in it to share their love of film.

Yep, that’s right. The guys at Eureka Entertainment always try to provide the customer with a regioncode-free disc of the film, if possible. I think that’s a great thing to do. Unlike Criterion they really go the extra mile to make sure the final product is satisfactory in every which way.
That’s only one reason out of many different others to support this company!
Needless to say, their DVD and Blu-ray editions are absolutely fantastic.

Eureka (MoC) is a class act, it’s that simple…

    Mein persönliches Lieblings Label. ;-)

Besides, the days in wich Criterin could be described as a “niche publisher” are long over. Although they still release niche films it’s a tough and hugely business orientated company now.
