Poster for Christopher Nolan’s Inception

I’m still trying to avoid anything that could spoil my innocent enjoyment of Christopher Nolan’s Inception, but a simple poster can’t do any harm, right…right?!

First Trailer for Jonah Hex

And the next live-action adaptation based on a DC Comics series. Josh Brolin plays Jonah Hex, a tough gunslinger and bounty hunter with connections to the “other side” who tries to track down his nemesis Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich) in order to gain freedom from the warrants put on his head from the military. Some of you might notice that Megan Fox is playing a skimpy dressed western whore…what a surprise!

Jonah Hex opens in US theaters on June 18th.

Another one of those fake trailer thingies that gets turned into “full” movies and even feature a known name with Rutger Hauer.

Undead Sushi in 3D! Sora Aoi in Big Tits Zombie!

If you’re reading the same genre sites as I do, you’ve probably already seen this, but I just couldn’t pass this load of trash. In Big Tits Zombie from director Takao Nakano, AV talent Sora Aoi and some of her colleagues star as strippers (of course) who have to fight every undead Japanese cliche the country (and the limited budget) has to offer…

Synopsis:

Rena Jodo (Sora Aoi) is a stripper who just got back from Mexico and she has been offered a gig at a hot spring resort. When she arrives, she finds a deserted country town. There’s hardly anyone in the audience at the strip club and all the other strippers, including Ginko (Risa Kasumi), Maria (Mari Sakurai), Nene (Tamayo) and Dana (Io Aikawa) are all bored stiff. They don’t know what to do with their time and they are on the verge of fighting each other.

When they decide to go down to the basement of the club to kill time, Maria finds a “Book of the Dead” near “the Well of the Spirit.” But who could have imagined the horror and panic that find would bring? Maria’s reading of the book out loud has somehow revived the dead and zombies start appearing all over the world attacking mankind. It’s Hell in the real world!

Dana and Nene are bitten by the zombies and they turn into living dead who attack Rena and Ginko. The poor big‐bosomed babes have no choice but to fight against Maria who now rules the zombies and tries to establish a kingdom of zombies. Rena and Ginko have to challenge Maria and the hordes of zombies! And how does the Blue Demon Devil (Minoru Torihada) fit in?

Splendid brings Casshern and Goemon to Blu-ray Disc

Good news for fans of Kazuaki Kiriya. German distributor Splendid Film announced to release all films (yes, that’s two) from the Japanese director on Blu-ray Disc in Germany on May 28, 2010. While Kiriya’s 2004 debut Casshern will only come in a standard amaray, Splendid will release Goemon in a limited edition steelbook (without those garsty rating logo on the front) as well. All releases will include the original Japanese audio track, but as expected from Splendid, Casshern will only include German subtitles while Goemon is supposed to also have Dutch subtitle options.
So far there are no English subtitled Blu-ray Disc releases of these films available. Casshern has been released in Italy in 2008 and Goemon has already plundered Japan and France.
