The Legend of Koizumi (Reform with no Wasted Draws): Mahjong meets International Politics

Who said Mahjong is just a game for old Chinese ladies? The first episode of the anime adaptation of Hideki Ohwada’s manga The Legend of Koizumi (Reform with no Wasted Draws) shows us (with English subtitles!) that the world’s leaders use the game to decide the fate of the world. In this episode, the former Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi gets challenged by the North Korean leader (and avid movie collector) Kim Jong-il with hilarious results.
