After the last few of my articles concentrated on (at least in my eyes) interesting Blu-ray Discs to be released in Japan, here’s some good news for the neglected US Anime market.
Yesterday Bandai Entertainment announced on their Otakon panel that they will release Kurokami: The Animation on Blu-ray Disc (and of course DVD) in the US. This would be Bandai Entertainment’s first release in the US of a show that’s currently airing.
Kurokami, the adaptation of the Korean Black God manhwa is available in Japan on Blu-ray Disc since May with Japanese, English and Korean audio but only Japanese subtitles. Sadly Bandai did not mention a concrete release date.
