Yeah! Auf dem Schutzumschlag der 35. Ausgabe von Kentarou Miuras Manga Berserk wurde bekannt gegeben, daß demnächst ein neues Animeprojekt zu dem Kultmanga starten wird. Mehr Informationen soll es demnächst in diversen japanischen Fachmagazinen und dann sicherlich auch hier geben…

Synopsis:

Zweiter Trailer zu Wen Jiangs Actionkomödie Let The Bullets Fly mit Chow Yun-Fet, Carina Lau und dem Regisseur selbst in den Hauptrollen. Geplanter Kinostart war eigentlich im Oktober, laut dem Trailer soll es aber nun erst am 16. Dezember so weit sein.

Synopsis

Set in China during the warring 1920s, notorious bandit chief Zhang descends upon a remote provincial town posing as its new mayor, an identity that he had hijacked from Old Tang, himself a small-time imposter. Hell-bent on making a fast buck, Zhang soon meets his match in the tyrannical local gentry Huang as a deadly battle of wit and brutality ensues.

Synopsis:

It is the year 2194. The Gamilons, an enemy of undetermined form, begin an invasion of Earth. The nations of Earth pool their forces and fight back, but their armies are defeated and most of humanity wiped out.

Five years later, in 2199, the Earth has been polluted by space-to-planet bombs, and those who remain alive have fled underground. Even the former top pilot, Susume Kodai, has left the military. One day as he is exploring above-ground, a mysterious object falls out of the sky. This is a communications capsule from the planet of Iscandar, 148,000 light years distant.

Apparently on Iscandar is equipment that will eliminate the radiation. The Defense Force of Earth equips the Space Battleship Yamato with a previously unknown propulsion system, a wave-motion engine based on plans found in the capsule. Kodai rejoins the Force, and resolves to set out aboard the “Yamato.” With the fate of the Earth in their hands, the crew blasts off for distant Iscandar. They have one year until radiation drives humanity to extinction. Kodai great battle has begun. Carrying humanity last hope with it, the Yamato blasts off!

Es gibt mal wieder was feines abzustauben im Affenheimtheater!
Universum Anime hat mir freundlicherweise jeweils zwei Exemplare der deutschen Blu-ray Disc Veröffentlichungen der Neon Genesis Evangelion Neuinterpretationen Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone und Evangelion 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance zur Verfügung gestellt.
Um eine der netten Blauscheiben (besonders 2.22 braucht sich nicht vor den internationalen Veröffentlichungen zu verstecken) zu gewinnen, braucht ihr einfach bis Dienstag Mitternacht (21.09.2010 23:59 Serverzeit) hier einen Kommentar hinterlassen, in dem ihr kurz erläutert wer euer liebster EVA Pilot bzw. Pilotin ist. Bei kritischen Details bitte Spoilertags benutzen, Danke!

Na holla, gute Nachrichten für blaue Ghost in the Shell Fans die den Import der teueren Japanveröffentlichungen scheuen. Kurz nach der Meldung, daß die Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Filme The Laughing Man, Individual Eleven und Solid State Society im Dezember in Japan auf Blu-ray Disc erscheinen sollen, tauchen eben jene drei Filme als hochauflösende US Veröffentlichungen bei Right Stuf auf. Als Erscheinungstermin für alle drei Titel nennt der Vertrieb Manga Entertainment (die Discs selbst kommen von Bandai) den 7. Dezember, also noch vor Japan. Englische Untertitel und Synchro sind mit an Bord.

Manga Entertainment UK hat sich übrigens die Rechte an dem Racing Anime aus dem Madhouse Studio gesichert und angekündigt das Teil Anfang 2011 auf DVD und Blu-ray Disc veröffentlichen.

Ooops, da habe ich gestern im Freudentaumel doch glatt eine weitere Blu-ray Disc Ankündigung von Studio Ghibli übersehen.
Neben Laputa: Das Schloss im Himmel wird am 22. Dezember auch Isao Takahatas Meine Nachbarn die Yamadas (Houhokekyo Tonari no Yamada-kun) ihre hochauflösende Premiere auf Blu-ray Disc in Japan feiern.
muhootsaver bzw. AV Watch hat auch schon die Specs zu der Scheibe ausgebuddelt:
Audio: Japanisch, Deutsch, Englisch, Koreanisch, Mandarin
Untertitel: Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch, Japanisch, Koreanisch, Chinesisch
Yamadas ist einer der wenigen Ghibli Filme den ich noch nicht gesichtet habe, von daher freut es mich natürlich daß ich den Film gleich in bester Qualität ins Haus kriegen kann. Ursprünglich sollte der Film einigen Gerüchten zufolge der erste werden, den Ghibli auf Blu-ray Disc veröffentlicht.
