Und die nächste Comic Verfilmung aus dem DC Universe. Josh Brolin spielt Jonah Hex, einen kaltblütigen und entstellten Kopfgeldjäger mit Verbindungen zur Welt der Toten, der sich aufmacht seinen Erzfeind aufzuspüren um sich von seinen vergangenen Untaten reinzuwaschen. Manchen von euch wird sicherlich auch auffallen, daß Megan Fox eine (ausnahmsweise mal) knapp bekleidete Westernhure spielt…

Jonah Hex startet am 18. Juni in den USA, ein deutscher Starttermin steht noch nicht fest.

Donnie Yen tritt ordentlich Ärsche und auch Sammo Hung kriegt sein Fett weg. Habe selbst nur kurz rübergeschaut um mir nicht vielleicht die besten Szenen im Film zu verderben.

Synopsis:

428AD, Bodhi, a Southern India prince became a Buddhist monk and set off for China, earning a hallowed reputation as a mystical martial artist. Following his death, his remains mysteriously disappeared.

Hundreds of years later, Zhang, a high-ranking court official, is assassinated by Drizzle. Zhang’s son Jingxiu, whilst mourning his father’s death, is assailed by a group assassins. They leave him for dead, but somehow he survives and escapes their clutches.

Drizzle, a talented warrior herself, finds herself in possession of Bodhi’s remains, and begins her quest to return them to their rightful resting place at Yunhe Temple. The Black Stone, a team of deadly assassins who employed Drizzle, are also after the remains and the powerful secret they hold. To hide from The Black Stone, Drizzle undergoes drastic facial surgery and changes her name to Zeng Jing (Michelle Yeoh). She flees to Beijing, where she meets and falls in love with Jiang, soon to become her husband.

After a confrontation in Beijing, Zeng Jing’s identity is uncovered and both she and Jiang must flee for their lives. As Zeng Jing kills off members of the gang while they are on the run, she quickly realises Jiang is actually Jingxiu, and he is seeking to avenge his father’s death. This leads to a lethal triangle and a fight to death between our hero Zeng Jing, Jiang and The Black Stone.

The only question remains who will be the last ones standing to uncover the secret of Bodhi’s remains?

Das Teil hat heute seine Runden im Netz schon hinter sich, aber so eine Ladung Trash konnte ich euch trotzdem nicht vorenthalten. AV Sternchen Sora Aoi tritt in Big Tits Zombie unter der Regie von Takao Nakano mit ihren Kolleginnen aus der Branche gegen alles untote an das Japan und das knappe Budget so zu bieten haben…

Synopsis:

Rena Jodo (Sora Aoi) is a stripper who just got back from Mexico and she has been offered a gig at a hot spring resort. When she arrives, she finds a deserted country town. There’s hardly anyone in the audience at the strip club and all the other strippers, including Ginko (Risa Kasumi), Maria (Mari Sakurai), Nene (Tamayo) and Dana (Io Aikawa) are all bored stiff. They don’t know what to do with their time and they are on the verge of fighting each other.

When they decide to go down to the basement of the club to kill time, Maria finds a “Book of the Dead” near “the Well of the Spirit.” But who could have imagined the horror and panic that find would bring? Maria’s reading of the book out loud has somehow revived the dead and zombies start appearing all over the world attacking mankind. It’s Hell in the real world!

Dana and Nene are bitten by the zombies and they turn into living dead who attack Rena and Ginko. The poor big‐bosomed babes have no choice but to fight against Maria who now rules the zombies and tries to establish a kingdom of zombies. Rena and Ginko have to challenge Maria and the hordes of zombies! And how does the Blue Demon Devil (Minoru Torihada) fit in?

Das Tragen von Vollgummianzügen war viel zu lange öffentlich verpöhnt! Death Kappa von Tomoo Haraguchi (Produzent von Machine Girl und Tokyo Gore Police zeigt, wie sich eigentlich harmloser Froschgeist sich zum Zerstörer einer beliebigen japanischen Metropole mausert. Tokyo Shock (wer auch sonst) wird das Teil ab Mai auf DVD und Blu-ray Disc in den USA veröffentlichen.

Frohe Kunde für Kazuaki Kiriya Fans. Splendid Film hat angekündigt, sämtliche Werke (also zwei) des japanischen Regisseurs am 28. Mai in Deutschland auf Blu-ray Disc zu veröffentlichen. Während es von Kiriyas 2004er Filmdebuet Casshern nur eine Special Edition im Amaray geben wird, spendiert Splendid Goemon zusätzlich eine Limited Edition im Steelbook (ohne FSK Logo). Beide Augenschmeichler bringen den japanischen Originalton, die deutsche Synchro sowie deutsche Untertitel mit.
Casshern ist aktuell nur in Italien auf Blu-ray Disc erschienen, Goemon gibt es bereits in Japan und Frankreich hochauflösend zu bewundern, allerdings ohne englische Untertitel.

The story begins with Sekiuchi (Kitamura Soichiro), boss of the Sannokai, a huge organised crime syndicate controlling the entire Kanto region, issuing a stern warning to his lieutenant Kato (Miura Tomokazu) and right-hand man Ikemoto (Kunimura Jun), head of the Ikemoto-gumi. Kato orders Ikemoto to bring the unassociated Murase-gumi gang in line, and he immediately passes the task on to his subordinate Otomo (Beat Takeshi), who runs his own crew. The tricky jobs that no-one wants to do always end up in Otomo’s lap…

Walt Disney Home Entertainment Japan hat die technischen Specs der im letzten Monaten angekündigten Blu-ray Disc Veröffentlichung von Hayao Miyazakis Meisterwerk Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind bekannt gegeben. Glücklicherweise (und wie erwartet) setzt Studio Ghibli seine importfreundliche Politik aus der DVD Ära fort und stattet die am 14. Juli erscheinende Blu-ray Disc mit einer Vielzahl von Untertiteln und Tonspuren aus:
Audio: Japanisch (LPCM 2.0), Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch, Koreanisch, Kantonesisch, Mandarin (alle Dolby Digital 2.0)
Untertitel: Englisch, Französisch, Koreanisch, Japanisch, Chinesisch (Trad.)
Als Extra für die Erstausgabe wird ein zusätzliches Booklet (Guide Book) erwähnt.
