Jin-Roh Realfilm geplant?

Während der Anime Expo hat Maki Terashima-Furuta, ihres Zeichens Vizepräsidentin von Production I.G auf eine Publikumsfrage hin gestanden/berichtet, daß jemand die Filmrechte für Hiroyuki Okiuras Jin-Roh – The Wolf Brigade Anime erstanden hat und einen Realfilm plant. Wer der glückliche Käufer ist und wann die Produktion starten soll wurde nicht verraten.
Ich hoffe mal es war ein japanisches Studio damit sämtliche Rollen mit J-Popsternchen besetzt werden die mit ihren schmalzigen Titelsongs (die schon jeden Trailer versauen) die japanischen Charts stürmen. Vielleicht war es auch ein US Studio das den Stoff entsprechend “anpassen” und in eine PG-13 Form pressen wird, die Hauptrolle wird schon irgendjemand aus Asien übernehmen… Mal gucken was da kommen mag…
Das Jin-Roh Universum wurde übrigens schonmal in die “reale Welt” versetzt. Niemand geringeres als Mamoru Oshii hat in den Filmen “Stray Dog” und “Red Spectacles” die Abenteuer der unverwechselbar gepanzerten Kerberos Spezialeinheit erzählt, allerdings nur mit mäßigen Budget und Erfolg.

Ich glaub ich spar ein einfach bisschen und hol mir dann Jin-Roh auf Blu-ray Disc…

    ich will lieber mal den Anime hier auf BD haben. Fand sogar die deutsche Synchro überaus gelungen und der Film ist eh super.

    Wenn das wirklich wahr wird, ein Grund zur Freude, der Anime ist ja schon ein Meisterwerk für sich. Ich hoffe sehr, dass das was wird!!!

    Nennt mich verrückt, aber der Trailer sieht aus wie ne Mischung aus Jin-Roh, Tsukamotos Bullet Ballet und Miikes City of Lost Souls !? :monkey: 8)

    Egal, bin gespannt, der Anime ist für mich ein moderner Klassiker und schreit nach einer adäquaten Real-Verfilmung…

    Wird wirklich Zeit für eine BD Veröffentlichung des Animes.
    Aber die Preise für die Japanische Disc sind nun ja….einigen wir uns auf: überteuert?

    i personally dont mind if the movie is a big dumb americanised event film. it will likely have great special effects and production (what the japanese live action movies didnt have), and the crappy scripting, acting etc will only make me appreciate the anime more. a remake will never ruin the original. but i can see that you dont really know your stuff, because you said that there were 3 live action kerberos movies, talking head was not part of the kerberos saga! it is just oshii’s 3rd live action movie, not his 3rd live action kerberos movie. you should probably watch the live action films, it might make you want to see a hollywood version.

    Thanks for the correction, I thought it was about the Kerberos unit as well since it’s part of the Mamoru Oshii cinematic trilogy that bears a Kerberos member on the cover.

    ah, i see where you mix up. you did better than johnathan ross, who said oshii’s only live action movie was avalon…
