mmh, manchmal lohnt es sich wirklich Newsmeldungen komplett zu lesen bzw. den enthaltenen Verlinkungen zu folgen. Im ANN Bericht zur Jin-Roh Realverfilmung (die älteren werden sich erinnern) wurde auf den kompletten Anime Expo Bericht zum Production I.G Panel verlinkt und dort wird mit folgendem Absatz Fans von Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Fans und Tachikomaliebhabern Hoffnung gemacht:
During the question and answer session, one fan asked about the possibility of a third season of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Terashima-Furuta answered that she expects the project to happen, but that the director is currently tied up in other projects.
Ich hoffe mal daß mit den anderen Projekten die beiden Nachfolgefilme zu Eden of the East gemeint sind und sich Kenji Kamiyama danach gleich wieder ins Ghost in the Shell Universum stürzt…

ich persönlich fand die Serie sogar besser (von der Story her) als die Filme.

hätten die einen der filme auf 20 stunden gestreckt, wär auch da einiges ausführlicher und tiefsinniger geworden
… aber hauptsache is : mehr GITS für alle

Hätten sie einfach den Manga ausführlich verfilmt(mindestens 2 Teile zu Band 1), hätte die Filme deises Problem gar nicht erst.

Über dies hinaus kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, dass man aus den Storys der Mangas von Shirow noch weiteres Verwertbares Material herausholen kann. Denn alle 3 mir bekannten Bände wurden schon kreuz und quer (und manchmal durchaus recht durchmischt) in den einzelnen Episoden der bisherigen 2 Staffeln verwertet.
Klar hat sich Kenji Kamiyama noch nie so richtig an die Vorlage gehalten, was er ha auch nicht musste, denn erst duch ihn wurde das GITS Universum zu dem was es heute ist. Aber dennoch denke ich, dass er da eine nochmals völlig neue, noch ungelöstere Fanasie entwickeln muss, um den bisherigen Staffeln von gits gerecht zu werden.
Ich bin gespannt (vor allem in wie weit die Staffel sich mit/vor/nach/ zwischen den 2ten und 3ten Film einordnen wird)…
(Interessant fände ich auch eine Retroperspektive in die Vergangenheit der Section9 Charaktäre, aber naja nur so ne Idee)
also lasst uns auf das beste hoffen …
